New
Technology Prevents False Alarms.
Bridges-the-Gap Between CCTV and Burglar Specialists
at the Central Station
San Leandro,
CA…Advanced technology has ushered in a new era in security
systems which promise to end false alarm reports.
Developed by
U.S.acoustics technologies, a northern California firm, the
Verifiable Video Image Transferring System (VIT) offers pre- and
post-alarm monitoring of intrusions, or other disturbances, for
review at monitoring stations.
Available as
an 8-channel multiplexer, the VIT unit detects events with up to
eight variable region motion detectors on cameras and with its
sensors —infrared, fire, among others — along with a siren.
When armed,
and an alarm signal is detected, the pre-alarm clip of
10-frames/second and post-alarm clip of 50-frames/second are sent
to the monitoring station via the internet within just a few
seconds.
Employing
designs and technology unavailable until now, pre-and-post alarm
can be sent anywhere for visual verification of an intruder by the
VIT system. This virtually eliminates any hassles: when the
monitoring station calls the home or business owner, they will
also request them to view the scene on the internet. This allows
the monitoring station to notify authorities only of a verified
event — within a second.

stations can now monitor the event through cameras with
microphones then, in order to evacuate the premises, warn-off
intruders with speakers, then a siren,
VIT System
Technology is the first to bridge-the-gap between CCTV and burglar
alarm specialists at the central station.

3-in-1 machine
VIT system
technology was developed as a three-in-one machine. It can serve
as a multiplexer (any time lapse VCR or digital video recorder can
be looped to the unit to record views from cameras) it affords
remote viewing (TCP/IP) via the internet and becomes a Video Image
Transferring System.
The company's
technology is packaged either as the CA-8000, a 19-inch wide
professional stand alone rack-mountable enclosure or the ACA-8, a
wall mountable panel with rechargeable battery.
